To All Our Friends, Patrons, and Artists

From Tufenkian Fine Arts to all our friends, patrons, and artists, first and foremost we hope that you are safe and doing well. As of March 14, Tufenkian Fine Arts has been open by appointment only due to the pandemic and the Safer at Home mandated by the City of Glendale and State of California. Our gallery operations are continuing remotely and we can be reached during regular gallery hours to answer any questions or set up private viewings on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. We are available to assist our clients with their art requests.

Tufenkian Fine Arts is taking steps to reach our audience with meaningful dialogue and new ways to stay engaged. 2020 has proved to be a transitional and challenging time for the arts and also for us. We are keeping in touch through our newsletter, social media, and online presence and have expanded our efforts to include our new blog site, artist videos, 360 virtual gallery videos, Artist of the Week announcements and digitizing our monographs.

Visit our blog site for weekly updates and exciting news about the gallery and the art world at large.

Our newly adopted well-received bimonthly ‘Artist of the Week’ announcements highlight one artist at a time. The announcements may include a short video about the artist, a short bio or cv, essays or reviews, images of available pieces, photos of past shows, and any additional information about the artist.

To date, Tufenkian Fine Arts has produced five artist monographs, each with essays by well-respected critics, scholars, and curators in the art field such as Peter Frank, Michael Duncan, Carole Anne Klonarides, Peter Balakian, Kireilyn Barber, and Shaheen Merali. Most recently we have digitized the monographs and made them available online and available by request. Our monographs are carefully considered and designed, deliberate, and of high quality.

Tufenkian Fine Arts is working with our design team to launch our new 360 videos for virtual online viewing of some of our past and upcoming shows. Additionally, we are working with our artists to produce short informational videos.

Our clients recent purchasing motivations are diversification, a way to redirect what would have been travel money in 2020, treat themselves to something that will inspire them, give their home an uplift, and many more reasons. Whatever the reason to purchase art, it is always exciting and a great inspiration.

We’d love to hear from you. Email us at with any comments, suggestions, requests, or inquiries.

We thank you for your continued support and patronage. We look forward to welcoming you back to the gallery in the future.
